Dance Hub SA is committed to nurturing, inspiring and evolving choreographic skills and inquiry in South Australia.

The Young Artist Program (YAP) is for emerging choreographers. It impacts and makes a commitment to the next generation of choreographers and artists and addresses the urgent need for choreographic development in South Australia.It is an incubator for artistic exchange and collaborative decision-making through mentorship and peer engagement. It brings together young dancer/choreographers
from diverse cultural backgrounds so that there is the celebration of community, culture, dance and
music within the group of participating young artists and creatives.

We have just conducted an open call for participants and we expect to announce the successful applicant soon.

The 2020 Mentor

The 2020 Mentor is the esteemed South Australian Choreographer and creative, Alison Currie – who brings her dance practice into the studio to share with selected
Young Artist Program protégés.
